Mysore State Employers Association (MSEA) was formed & registered with the Mysore State Registrar of Trade Unions
The founder Secretary Late B.R. Puttananjappa started circular services and organised seminars on then current issues on Industrial Relations & Labour Legislations
Mysore State Employers Association (MSEA) was renamed as Karnataka Employers’ Association (KEA)
Sri B. C. Prabhakar - was inducted as Joint Secretary
Sri B. C. Prabhakar (as KEA representative) was nominated to attend ILO Technical Meetings and Workshops globally (Geneva, Dublin, Indonesia, Thailand, Italy, Nepal, etc.)
KEA celebrated its Silver Jubilee, which was inaugurated by Sri Chandrashekar, Ex-Chief Justice of the High Court of Karnataka
KEA started organising several Seminars and Workshops in collaboration with ILO, AIOE, EFI and on its own
Sri B. C. Prabhakar led a Study Group for promising business executives and Employers’ Association leaders from various countries on Total Quality Management held at Tokyo, Japan

KEA celebrated its Golden Jubilee which was inaugurated by the then Central Minister of Labour & Employment Sri Mallikarjun Kharge, with Dr M.R. Jayaram - Chairman of Gokula Education Foundation (M.S. Ramaiah Institutions) as Chief Guest
KEA continued its activity of organising multiple Seminars, Workshops & Training Programmes in collaboration with ILO/AIOE/FKCCI/BCIC/PSI/BCP Associates
KEA's response to Covid-19 Epidemic was both rapid and timely for which it received wide media coverage
1. KEA organised several programs virtually to guide its members & employers
2. Under the able leadership of Sri. B.C. Prabhakar, KEA rallied hard on behalf of its member companies to effect changes and reforms at the Government & Legislative levels to better handle the unprecedented pandemic
3. During the pandemic, KEA recognised and applauded several member companies who went above and beyond to protect and retain their employees while battling to sustain their businesses

3. CEO & COO of KEA visit Singapore and meet with Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF), National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), and the Ministry of Manpower in the month of August 2022
4. KEA celebrated its Diamond Jubilee with Padma Vibhushan - Sri Azim Premji, Founder Chairman, Wipro Limited & Chairman, Azim Premji Foundation as the Chief Guest
5. On this historic day, Sri Azim Premji unveiled a plaque to commemorate and symbolize 60 glorious years of KEA’s robustness and solid standing
6. To evolve KEA to the next level, the vision of KEA 2.0 was launched with a strategy that entails 3 Rs - Relevance, Reach & Raise
